The Uptown String Band will be managing the Uptown Hall.
The hall has undergone a major renovation which has transformed the hall into a beautiful banquet facility. We hope the renovated hall will be mutually beneficial to both the community and the Uptown String Band. The hall is ideal for weddings, graduation parties, birthday parties, baby showers, luncheons, rehearsals, community events, fundraisers, and anniversaries.
The hall can accommodate a small intimate setting of 50 people or less, or a large event of up to 200 people. The staff is here to make your event a success and assist in any way possible. The hall has a spacious kitchen for reheating and keeping food warm. There is ample storage for food and beverages, as well as outside access to the kitchen for easy loading and unloading of goods. We also have the Uptown String Band available to perform for many types of events. The bands performance time and size can be tailored to fit your needs.

See our "Rental Calendar" below. You can scroll through the months to check the availability of each given day. Although this calendar is updated daily, reserving a date is first come first serve with respect to when you make your deposit.
For Preferred Dates (Fri, Sat, Sun) we offer a 2 hour, 4 hour and a 5 hour rental option starting at either 12pm or 7pm. Therefore, the times for a 12pm start are from 12pm until 2pm, 4pm or 5pm. And the times for a 7pm start are from 7pm until 9pm, 11pm, or midnight. The time slots are more flexible for Non-Preferred Dates (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu). For the fastest response, scroll to the bottom of this page and fill out our "Uptown Hall Rental Form". You can include the date and time that you're interested in or even any questions you may have. Upon completion of this form you will be contacted within one week by our Hall Manager or another representative of the Uptown String Band. We will then schedule an appointment with our Hall Manager who will give you a tour of Uptown Hall. At the end of the meeting you will be given the opportunity to secure a date by making a $100 deposit.
The Uptown String Band does not offer any catering or food packages. We encourage you to use the caterer of your choice. Uptown Hall does, however, have a small kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator for some small accommodations.
Decorating the hall is allowed and generally available for 2 to 3 hours on the day of the event. If more time is needed, alternate arrangements will be made to accommodate your decorating requests. No tape, tacks or nails of any kind are allowed on the banquet hall walls, ceiling, or lighting fixtures.
Uptown Hall has a maximum occupancy of 180 people. And although we have the chairs, round tables & rectangular tables for a maximum seating capacity, the recommended number of guests to be seated comfortably for most events is approximately 150. However, certain seated fundraisers, like bingo's, can get closer to the maximum occupancy.
The diameter of our circular tables are 5 foot across (60"L x 60"W x 30"H) which can seat approximately 8 to 10 adults. Our rectangular tables are 6 foot long (72"L x 30"W x 29"H) which can seat approximately 6 to 8 adults.
