Looking for that something special to make your event memorable?  Nothing gets the crowd on their feet and is more enjoyable than a string band!  The Uptown String Band is available for many types of events such as parties, banquets, festivals, carnivals, picnics, and parades.  We can provide whatever size band fits your needs, from an 8-piece combo to a full 30+ piece costumed band, and any size in between.  We can provide entertainment at your event for anywhere from 20 minutes to throughout the entire event.

     Uptown is also available for concerts.  We have an extensive repertoire of music, and offer a different program of musical selections each year.  We typically perform two 45 minute sets which may include our New Year’s Day routine, patriotic tunes, old standards, some favorites from past Uptown themes, and of course some string band favorites.  We’ll bring along some costumed dancers to interact with the crowd, and end the night with “Golden Slippers” complete with umbrellas!
