The Uptown String Band is a non-profit organization based in Hulmeville, PA. They are a member of the Philadelphia Mummers String Band Association, and participate annually in the Philadelphia Mummers Parade, held each year on New Year’s Day. This award-winning band performs locally, nationally, and internationally throughout the year to fund its New Year’s Day production, and takes pride in entertaining the public with “Philadelphia String Band Music At Its Finest.”
